Workout Amplifier: Nitric Oxide Supplements

Nitric oxide is naturally occuring in the body, as a byproduct of amino acid breakdown. Nitric oxide allows formore blood and nutrients to be brought to muscles, and has been shown to be boosted when body builders and weight lifters workout, and increased levels give an extra pump. Caffeine added to the nitric oxide works in several ways. One way is simply by being a stimulant, giving you extra energy to get the most out of a workout. Caffeine is also being explored as an enhancement to nitric oxide by slowing arginase's effectiveness. Arginase decreases the levels of nitric oxide within the body, and so caffeine may make the nitric oxide boost last longer.
